It’s been a long time so let’s catch up!
I hope you guys have been doing great in life while we were on hiatus. I have some awesome news to share. Usually I’m pretty private about these moments in my life however, I hope that by sharing my journey I will spread some encouragement and camaraderie.
I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and literally two weeks away from fabulously turning 41 years of age.
On May 11, 2023 what should’ve been a routine prenatal visit became an extended staycation in the hospital. I have what many women have experienced during pregnancy… Pre-Eclampsia.
This condition can be very dangerous to any mom-to-be at any age, stage, race etc… so I’ve decided to document my journey this time since this is my first time ever dealing with a high-risk pregnancy.
First and foremost, know that as long as you are informed and get the needed health care as soon as possible, everything will absolutely be ok. The key is: Don’t Panic!
